Apologies to those wanting to help on Saturday 12th September. We have had to cancel due to lack of water preventing our work boat from reaching Sandiacre.

Leaking locks, low water levels, repeated closures are affecting wildlife, businesses and boaters alike.
If this closure has affected you, please report it to Canal & River Trust. Together, we can help put the Erewash Canal back on the agenda.

Our magnificent Shire horses will be visiting Sandiacre Lock Cottage for one day only. Bring the family, enjoy homemade refreshments and discover the rich heritage of the Erewash Canal.
